I love the outdoors. Desert, mountains, beaches, forests; you name it I am up for it. This past weekend I was fortunate to spent it in Yosemite celebrating Jacque and Daniel’s love for each other.
Jacque and Daniel had the most gorgeous wedding tucked in the serene, secluded Paradise Springs, in Oakhurst. We started our day by taking over the upper level of the Villa Lodge. With nine bridesmaids plus family, there wasn’t much standing room but the atmosphere was electric. The morning flew by with bubbles, laughter and all of the pretty finishing touches around us. With not a moment to spare we dashed off to Glacier Point for the first -smaller- ceremony.
We then returned to Paradise Springs for the second ceremony. The Minister shared such heartfelt words, knowing Jacque since she was a teenager. It was hard to hold back the tears as he spoke about her late father. Jacque’s bouquet was bound with a charm commemorating her dad. The day finished off with a pow. With awesome food, dancing, some cigar smoking and even S’mores- yum!
Jacque and Daniel live in Los Angeles with their four-year-old son Jackson. When asked why they choose Yosemite, they said it is a beautiful and special place to them. They go a few times a year, and have visited during all seasons. If Daniel could live anywhere in the world, it would be in a tree house in Yosemite.
Jacque and Daniel, I had a great time photographing your stunning wedding. May your love for each other multiply and grow deeper. I wish you a lifetime of happiness together.
Paradise Springs is full of quirky details like this replica of an old gold mine- love it!
